We can probably call the Shaq-Javale McGee feud as a beef, but there’s apparently none between Draymond Green and Paul Pierce, at least according to Pierce.
Pierce reportedly denied that he and the Warriors star have on-going conflict after the two engaged in a bit of back-and-forth Thursday night.
“He’s not beefing with me,” Pierce told reporters with a laugh Friday, per the Los Angeles Times. “That wasn’t no beef. I ain’t got no beef in the NBA. I done already settled all my beefs. Naw, that ain’t beef.”
The Clippers forward got an earful from afar from Green during Thursday’s game — “couldn’t get no farewell tour” — and Pierce posted on Twitter later that night, seemingly in response.
73 wins and u thought u was gonna win a title that yr 😂😂😂3-1 lead oops

“That’s just good banter,” Pierce told the Times, laughing again. “That’s all it is. Just good back and forth banter. That’s all.”
We’re glad Pierce cleared that up and for admitting he started that banter.
