LeBron James’ connection with the city of Miami ain’t going anytime soon and so the four-time MVP is making South Beach the hub for training with his Cleveland Cavaliers gang.
James is apparently getting a jump on his pre-training camp workouts for the 2015-16 season with the Cavaliers in Miami, under the direction of one or two personal trainers.
David Alexander, a Miami-based personal trainer for several pro athletes who is also business partner and personal trainer for James’ wife, Savannah, posted a picture to his Instagram account Friday of himself, James, restricted free agent guard Norris Cole, and James’ personal trainer Mike Mancias.
The caption of Alexander’s post read “Such Amazing (sic) energy in the facility this morning! Everyone going hard and focused.”
Additionally, James tweeted on Friday morning that “It’s time to work!”
Add the two together, and consider James’ words from shortly after the Cavaliers’ loss in the Finals to Golden State that he would “get back in the lab” around Labor Day, and you have the unofficial, official start of James’ preparations.
Labor Day, of course, is Monday.
It’s time to work! #StriveForGreatness
