A Celtic seeking help from a Laker? It’s probably unheard of… until now.
Turns out, Boston point guard Isaiah Thomas has been producing unbelievable numbers and he has just revealed the reason why: Kobe “Bean” Bryant.
Isaiah Thomas is getting scouting/film tips from Kobe Bryant before and after every game against the Wizards. Seriously.

And while Chase Hughes specifically mentioned the Wizards series, it was apparently on since the first round.
Isaiah Thomas said he watched film with Kobe over the phone after GM 2 of Bulls series. Bryant showed him things he didn’t see before

Yup, Kobe is taking Isaiah into the Musecage .
Thomas was the last pick in the 2011 NBA Draft and plays with a notorious chip on his shoulder, so it makes sense that he would get along with one of the most passionate, sometimes divisive, players in NBA history.
Whatever Kobe’s telling him, it’s clearly working. Thomas is averaging 43 points and shooting 52 percent from the field in two games so far against the Wizards, compared to 23 points on just 43 percent shooting against the Bulls in the first round.
And if Kobe’s advice is really responsible for Thomas’ play of late, he needs to stop making children’s programming and get into coaching — pronto.
