The Miami Heat’s Dion Waiters silenced the crowd with a shot in the last few seconds versus the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
With only 14 seconds left, Waiters got a go from Josh Richardson at the highest point of the circular segment and instantly shot it from several feet out, effortlessly finding the three and drawing boos from Cavs fans.
Waiters didn’t back down at all, rather seeming to give back a little trash talk and gloating to the displeased onlookers.
The Cavaliers drafted Waiters fourth overall in 2012, and he played two-and-a-half unremarkable seasons in Cleveland before being managed to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Cavs fans as of now didn’t consider much Waiters, and keeping in mind that he’s surely playing better now, his jawing isn’t probably going to have altered their opinions.
